About our centre:

Huntingdon Town Children's Centre comprises the following satellite settings:

Huntingdon Nursery School (see News section for link),St. John’s Primary School, Thongsley Fields Primary and Nursery School, St. John’s Little Learners, Spring Common School, St. Barnabas Learning Centre, Christian Centre.

Services Offered include:

Baby clinics, Toy Libraries, Toddler Sessions, e.g. Minus 1-5 Moorplay, Hinchingbrooke Playtime, Men Behaving Dadly, Little Stars, Breakfast Clubs and After School Facilities.

Support Groups – Post Natal Support, Emotional Support

Courses for families –

Family Talk, Raising Children, Count on Me, Webster Stratton, Confidence Courses, 1,2,3 Magic, Chattersacks, Food & Nutrition Courses, Play and Sing, Language Courses, Sibling Rivalry, Teenage Mums, Basic Skills.

Services are delivered via the schools, Health Visitors and Early Years Professionals, to extend our support of young families in line with the Government’s agenda Every Child Matters to deliver the core offer outlined in phase 2 Children's Centre remit.
